Counselling Services provided: Individual therapy (13+), Couples Therapy and Family Counselling.

Her approaches: Brief Solution Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive and, Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Attachment and Trauma informed modalities including EMDR and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy.

Meet Dana:

She is a warm, genuine, and compassionate therapist who provides a safe and non-judgmental space for self-exploration, emotion processing, recovery, and personal growth to occur. Built upon a foundation of trust, respect, openness, and empathy, she places a high value on the therapeutic relationship and believes it is essential to a positive therapeutic experience.

Dana has completed a Master of Social Work degree at Wilfred Laurier University. She also has training on EMDR and Parts Work for Treating Complex Trauma. Dana is very passionate about her role in guiding and empowering her clients to live authentic, fulfilling, and meaningful lives.

Dana has experience in both hospital and private practice settings providing counselling to individuals, couples and families. Dana has supported clients with numerous challenges including anxiety, depression, OCD, mood disorders, addiction, chronic pain, grief and loss, relationship issues, gender identity, oppression, acute/complex trauma, attachment, life stage transitions, situational stress, development of self and personal growth.
