Her approaches: Kelly approaches clients from an anti-oppressive, client-centered perspective, using a variety of therapeutic approaches that are uniquely tailored to each client. Some of the therapeutic modalities that she uses are Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based approaches, existentialist perspective, person-centered therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and narrative practices.

Some counsellors provide only tele-health counselling on certain days of the week and so their schedule will appear “booked” if you select in-person services.

Kelly's Profile:

With life being a series of ups and downs, Kelly is committed and passionate about joining clients in their journey of self-discovery and navigating the challenges that life can present. Finding ways to manage stress and anxiety that often come with different phases and stages of life are important parts of Kelly’s work. With everyone coming with their own unique story, Kelly is dedicated to working alongside individuals to build a strong therapeutic relationship and find what will work for each person individually.

Kelly is currently completing her practicum course as part of the Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology program through Yorkville University. She has been a Child and Youth Counsellor for the past ten years supporting children and adolescents with social, emotional, and behavioral challenges and is committed to supporting all individuals in finding ways to navigate life’s challenges. She has worked with adolescents who have struggled with anxiety, depression, those that have been recently diagnosed, and those struggling with school related stress.

Kelly creates a warm, safe, welcoming atmosphere where individuals can share their stories, recognize their strengths, and can be supported in creating full and authentic lives. Her kind and caring demeanor allows for genuine connections so that change can start to take place.
