She is passionate about client-centered work, and works from a trauma-informed treatment lens. She draws from a few different theoretical orientations which guide her work today, such as Cognitive-Behavioural, solution-focused interventions as well as mindfulness-based, emotion-focused and narrative techniques. Given her background in Concurrent Disorders, she is also able to assist individuals in their recovery by recognizing their stage of change and working from a harm reduction approach.
