Courtney offers clients a safe, affirming space to openly explore their concerns. She believes in fostering compassion, collaboration, and authentic connection within the therapeutic relationship. Courtney creates an environment where clients can feel genuinely seen and supported while working together to identify solutions and build greater personal growth and healing. She’s here to provide you with the tools and support to reclaim your life, build resilience, and move towards healing through an integrative approach that fits the treatment to meet you where you’re at.

She is passionate about working with adults, students, and couples, and has extensive experience supporting diverse populations, including the LGBTQIA+ community, individuals living with chronic pain, and those navigating complex trauma, academic pressures, and women's health concerns. Courtney takes a genuine, open-minded, and trauma-informed approach to therapy, understanding that meaningful change grows from a strong and trusting therapeutic relationship.

Courtney earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) double major in Psychology and Women and Gender Studies from Wilfrid Laurier University. She also completed an Ontario College Graduate Certificate (OCGC) in Brain Disorders Management at Mohawk College and is finalizing her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. She holds a certificate in Complex PTSD Treatment and is committed to providing inclusive care for individuals across the spectrum of sexual and gender identities.

Professional Designation: Courtney holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and an Ontario College Graduate Certificate in Brain Disorders Management. She has also received training in the use of meditation for enhancing mindfulness, the use of Emotion- Focused therapy (EFT)using attachment-based interventions for couples in crisis, completed training in the use of prolonged exposure therapy for use in some cases of PTSD recovery, and she has also completed trauma therapy training in the form of CCTPII (Certified Clinical Trauma Professional- Level 2).

Insurance Information: Covered by most insurance plans, if you have coverage for Registered Psychotherapist (RP). Supervising therapist's license information will be provided for the claim process. We offer receipts for reimbursements.

Counselling Services provided: Individual Therapy for Adults, Students (18+), and Couples Therapy.

Her approaches: Courtney offers an integrative and holistic trauma-informed approach to psychotherapy, thoughtfully tailoring each session to the unique needs of her clients. She draws from attachment theory, emotion-focused therapy (EFT/EFIT), internal family systems (IFS), and mindfulness-based practices. With a particular passion for working with individuals navigating complex trauma, chronic pain and illness, identity development, academic pressures, and relationship challenges, Courtney provides a warm, supportive, and collaborative environment where clients can explore growth and healing.

Individual Session Fee (50 minutes): $150
