Online Therapy
Too busy to drive and see a therapist?
Embarrassed to be seen at a therapist’s office or clinic?
Too stressed or anxious to go out and be in a crowded place?
If you experience any of this but understand the value and benefit of seeking therapy, your next best option is counselling delivered over the phone or video call.
Online therapy is a convenient and effective way to get mental health support from the comfort of your own home. You can meet with your therapist through live video sessions, which are just like regular therapy sessions, except online. Research shows that online therapy works just as well as in-person therapy for many issues. You can also choose other forms of online communication, such as email, chat, or messaging, but these are not as well-studied as live online counselling sessions.
Advanced technology has laid the groundwork for delivering high-quality online therapy without the need to travel or be physically present in a clinic. No matter how hectic your schedule is, you can easily squeeze in a call with your counselor.
Online counselling can be as effective as therapy delivered face-to-face. Once our clients experience an online session, they tend to realize that this form of counselling can also be helpful for them.
